Epson P7000 P9000!!!

Well hello everyone! So Pro Digital Gear has a YouTube channel, Facebook, a Facebook group for DTG and an Instagram. It is about time we start a Blog. So, without further ado, I give you our very first Pro Digital Gear Blog Post. I am a terrible writer but I will try my best to give you clear and honest experiences with the products we carry and use.

So first I would like to start with the P7000 and P9000 from Epson. I have had the pleasure of printing with Epson’s 24 inch and 44 inch large format photo printers for quite some time now. They never disappoint. Color, black density and detail are just above and beyond. The color though!!! I just really love the color you get with these machines. Skin tones, grass, trees flowers … the spectrum just pops more with the P Series. Especially those pesky purples and blues.

They are more reliable too. For inkjet technology, these machines are definitely keeping the clogging issues to a minimum. Some might argue that Canon large format printers clog less. Really its about the same. Canons Technology allows a clogged nozzle to defer to a different nozzle that is clear. I believe that is how it works. Eventually, there will be no more nozzles to defer to, and then you have to replace the print head. Yes, Canon large format printers will let you replace the print head on your own, but it has been our experience that you end up spending a lot of cash in print heads over time. So in reality, Canon and Epson are quite alike here. Don’t get me wrong, I love the Canon printers too.

Below is some information from Epson’s website and if you need more specs, you can go here to our website to learn more about the printers. I hope this helps!
