We finally received a demo Epson F570 to make videos and play! So far I can tell you that this little beast is SO AWESOME! A 24″ Sublimation printer that can easily fit on a desk? I definitely did not think too much of this. Then I saw how simple and easy it was to use! The driver does all the work for you. Not only does it mirror the image, but it also adjusts the color perfectly. At first glance the print itself will look faded on the transfer paper. Don’t freak out though. This is normal. With the right pressure, heat, and time on the heat press you can achieve incredible color results. I was quite shocked and I learned the saturation happens during the transfer. I printed right from Photoshop CS6 on Windows 10 and boom, it was on a mouse pad a few minutes later. Check out our quick video. We are working on a complete setup video too. That should be up soon. Also, stock on the F570 is trickling into our warehouses so call us now to get yours! 1-888-459-1482

Not too long ago we had the pleasure of testing a Canon imagePROGRAF PRO-2000. It is a FANTASTIC printer.
As stated in the previous article about the Epson P Series Printers: ” Some might argue that Canon large format printers clog less. In actuality it’s about the same. Canon’s Technology allows a clogged nozzle to defer to a different nozzle that is clear. I believe that is how it works. Eventually, there will be no more nozzles to defer to, and then you have to replace the print head. Yes, Canon large format printers will let you replace the print head on your own, but it has been our experience that you end up spending a lot of cash in print heads over time.”
So you might think “Why bother with this tech and just go Epson? ” Well in theory, this could keep you printing longer without having to perform maintenance like cleaning cycles. Yes eventually you will have to replace the print head and you will have to stop printing at that point. But it is more likely that you will make it through a larger print job without hangups from clogging. This printer also has ink reservoirs which allow you to change the ink carts without stopping your print. At least that is how I understand it.
The color and detail on this printer are fantastic of course. We all know that canon knows their color science.
And I really appreciated loading roll paper on this machine. It loads from the front, not the top, like on Epson large format printers. All you have to do is feed the media in just a little bit and it will load every time without fail. Epson is great, but I feel like it is a little more finicky to load media. The Canon seems to just suck up that media like it can’t wait to print.
Even though the price is higher on the printer and inks, it is still excellent value. Here are some videos we made on the Pro 2000. Enjoy! Happy Printing!
Here is what Canon has to say – The 24-inch imagePROGRAF PRO-2000 printer is designed to exceed expectations for image quality and color consistency in a large format printer. The use of new a 1.28-inch wide 12-channel integrated compact print head, LUCIA PRO ink set plus Chroma Optimizer, a high-precision mechanical platform and the L-COA PRO high-speed image processing engine achieves a balance between exceptional print quality and speed.
These unique Canon technologies and innovations establish
the foundation for an ultra-high quality photography imaging solution
that is available only from Canon. Powered by a Canon-to-Canon workflow
that links images captured with an EOS Digital Camera and printed on an
imagePROGRAF PRO Series printer, the result is a solution that delivers
prints that capture the moment and emotion of the original image. The
overwhelmingly high print quality produced by this input to output
solution is called Crystal-fidelity.
